Early Decision Admissions Timeline
An early decision application requires that you apply to the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine only. You may only apply to other medical schools if you are not accepted by Pritzker. If you apply Early Decision and are not accepted, you may then be considered for Regular Admission and can also then apply to other medical schools.
Due to the unique nature of this program and the abbreviated application timeline, you must arrange a meeting with one of our Directors of Admissions prior to applying through the Early Decision Program. We prefer that you arrange this meeting in the early spring of the year in which you intend to apply. Prior to scheduling your meeting, you must first send a resume/CV and transcript (unofficial is okay) to pritzkeradmissions@bsd.uchicago.edu. In your email, state that you are interesting in applying to Pritzker as an Early Decision applicant. We will then be in touch with you to set up a meeting with one of our Directors of Admissions.
If you are applying early decision, you cannot apply to the MeSH and MSTP programs. However, once enrolled in the MD Program at Pritzker, students may apply to additional degree programs in science, humanities, social sciences, law and business.
