Overview

This is an elective for students designed to teach clinical neurophysiology. Basic course in the interpretation techniques and clinical correlations for EEG's, EP's and sleep disorders will be held. Students will evaluate patients with sleep disorders and epilepsy in the outpatient clinic. The students will also participate in teaching sessions devoted to the introduction of neurophysiologic concepts.

Objectives

To gain an experience in clinical neurophysiology -EEG, EP, EMG, and sleep studies. Apply the above knowledge in the sleep and epilepsy outpatient clinics.

Evaluation

Clinical skills and interpretation of diagnostic studies.
