Overview
Students spend a month pursuing an independent research topic under the supervision of faculty in the Center for Clinical Medical Ethics.
Arranged with instructor. Final registration and determination of credits for this course is dependent upon the submission and approval of the Preceptorship/Independent Study Proposal Form (PDF). Until that time, you will not be formally registered nor able to obtain credit.
Objectives
To help students identify a topic of controversy in medical ethics and to assist students in the development of a research project in medical ethics.
Evaluation
Students will be evaluated based on the independent work they carry out in pursuit of their research.
