Overview
Research elective full-time. Research opportunities exist with Dr. Dachman in clinical and laboratory abdominal imaging.
Objectives
The student is expected to participate in ongoing research in clinical or laboratory abdominal imaging.
Evaluation
Based primarily on participation, but may include observational and writing skills. 2 weeks - 50 credits, 1 month -100 credits, and 1 quarter - 300 credits.

Arranged with instructor. Contact Dr. Dachman directly by email at ahdachma@uchicago.edu if considering this elective. The elective will involve a project related to CT Virtual Colonoscopy or some other abdominal CT project, tailored to the experience of the applicant and subject to availability of Dr. Dachman to mento a student during the elective period. Students considering a summer research elective are encouraged to apply for this elective simultaneously in order to maximize research productivity during the summer elective
Ideally, this is a full-time elective, 8am-5pm. More limited time restrictions will be considered however.
All other start and finish dades must be pre-arranged and approved.
