Overview
Training in the techniques and methodologies of human clinical cytogenetics. Review of basic and clinical cytogenetics; preparation of peripheral blood cell cultures, banding of chromosomes, preparation and harvesting of human amniotic fluid and chorionic villus cultures for prenatal diagnosis of chromosomal disorders.
Objectives
To provide advance training in techniques and methodologies of human clinical cytogenetics.
