Overview

This course is designed to familiarize the student with the various methods of radiation therapy and with the efficacy of such treatment. The student can elect to study some mammalian radiobiology and tumor radiobiology. Some students have taken a particular clinical entity and done a rather thorough survey of the literature and then correlated the results with this literature search.

Objectives

To provide students with an in depth knowledge of specialized topics in radiation oncology.

Evaluation

Students will be evaluated on their interaction with staff and patients and quality of their work on selected topics.
